Gidget Foundation Australia is excited to announce the opening of our fifth Gidget House and our first in Western Sydney at Stockland Merrylands.
Gidget House Merrylands offers free psychological counselling for parents dealing with perinatal depression and anxiety with services up to six days a week, and employs local psychologists, including specialists with an understanding of Arabic and Farsi – helping meet the needs of the local area, with people from more than 120 nationalities call home.
NSW Health Minister, the Hon. Brad Hazzard MP, officially opened Gidget House Merrylands on Monday 13 August with Antoinette Lattouf, Gidget Foundation Australia Ambassador and former PNDA sufferer who was the event MC.
